Lynn LaLonde Allen is a renowned artist and designer whose passion for art and design was sparked at a young age by her mother and exposure to art museums. Lynn’s formal education began at California Polytechnic University, where she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and continued at the prestigious Art Center College of Design, where she earned a degree in Advertising Design.
Throughout her career, Lynn has continued to learn from renowned teachers at various institutions, including the Otis Parsons School of Design, San Francisco Art Institute and the Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto. She has also worked as an art and creative director for over 15 years in advertising agencies and publishing companies, which has influenced her approach to creative painting challenges.
Lynn draws inspiration from Abstract Expressionism and the Bay Area Figurative Movement, which is evident in her bold, graphic-based compositions. She often begins her pieces with her own photographs or manipulated images, which she then transforms into vibrant, textured works of art. Her use of color and texture creates a visual feast for the eyes, and her compositions are both dynamic and captivating.
Lynn currently resides in Long Beach, California, where she continues to create stunning works of art. Her pieces have been exhibited in numerous galleries and exhibitions, and are held in private and corporate collections throughout the world. Lynn’s unique style and creative process make her a truly exceptional artist and designer.
